Ron Santo returned to broadcasting Chicago Cubs baseball games on Friday after recovering from health issues. It was Santo’s first WGN radio broadcast since the April 21st win over St. Louis.
The former Cub third baseman has been plagued by health issues for much of his adult life, most of which stems from recurring bouts with diabetes. The latest health episode involved an irregular heartbeat.
All is well with Ronnie and just in time for him to enjoy the Cubs recent ride of success. Continued good thoughts to one of the Chicago Cub greats.
Welcome back Ronnie.
