“Kick Me Out of the Ballgame”

In honor of Lou Piniella’s first ejection as Chicago Cubs manager and 62nd of his career, I thought it only appropriate to honor the skipper with a song. With deepest apologies to John Norworth, composer of the baseball classic, here’s:

Kick Me Out of the Ballgame
Kick me out of the ballgame
Toss me out of the yard
Buy me some players who hit and throw
If I had those I wouldn’t blow
Let me scream, kick dirt on the umpire
Though he’s not the one whom to blame
Toss me once, twice, three times I’m out
From another Cubs game
