Former Chicago Cub great Ron Santo was released from the hospital Tuesday night and is expected to return to the WGN-AM radio booth on May 4th for the Cubs game against the Washington Nationals.
Santo had entered the hospital over the weekend for an “irregular heartbeat.” No surgery was required.
It’s always a sunny day with Ronnie in the booth. A win today and Santo back in the booth - Cubs win.
